Halloween may have come and pass, but here at SHAR, we've been keeping the spooky spirit strong while sorting through your coloring pages! After receiving and admiring over 200 submissions, we finally selected our 2019 Fall Coloring Contest category and grand-prize winners - Plus a few honorable mentions! Our contestants ranged in age from 2 years old to 77 years old, and the creativity everyone demonstrated astounded (and startled!) us. We hope everyone enjoyed coloring their pages as much as we enjoyed picking the winners. Now on to the results!
SHAR 2019 Fall Coloring Contest Winners:
- $50 Winner of the 5 and Under Category: Noelle E, Age 5
Noelle's use of bright colors and efforts to color in the lines caught our eye and made her the perfect candidate for our 5 and under category. Well done, Noelle!
- $50 Winner of the 6-12 Category: Ariana L, Age 12
Ariana made her coloring page stand out with detailed outlining and her fall color scheme. This is a "Happy Autumn" if I've ever seen one! Nice job, Ariana!
- $50 Winner of the 13-18 Category: Alondra G, Age 13
Alondra's spooky shading and bold, contrasting color choices made her coloring page an obvious choice for our teenage category. It looks awesome, Alondra!
- $50 Winner of the 18 and up Category: Judith L, Age 77
The time Judith took to blend colors and add shading and depth to her coloring page is evident, which makes her the winner of the 18+ age category. Way to go, Judith!
- $250 Grand Prize Winner: Anahi G, Age 12
The extra touches Anahi included in her page amazed (and scared) us! The details and background really bring this page to life, and for that, we're happy to award Annie the $250 grand prize. Thank you for sharing your drawing with us, Anahi!
